The Stony Brook School of Nursing’s Online Master’s Program earned a top 10 ranking from the U.S. News and World Report in the Best Online Master’s Nursing Programs category for the sixth year in a row.
The School of Nursing ranked No. 8—up one place from last year’s rankings. Programs are judged on key performance indicators, including engagement, faculty credentials and training, and peer assessment.
“This ranking is a testament to not only our faculty expertise, but the clinical opportunities associated with an academic medical center and being part of the No. 1 public university in New York State,” said Patricia Bruckenthal, dean of the School of Nursing.
SBU’s School of Nursing has offered high-quality online programs since 1994. Currently, all graduate programs are offered through distance education with on-site requirements.
