NEXUS Standards and Policies
The Nursing EXcellence Utilizing Simulation (NEXUS) Innovation Center operates in alignment with the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation℠ and Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) accreditation criteria. Students participating in simulation or practice activities in the Nexus Innovation Center are expected to understand and comply with the center's policies and procedures.
All participants must maintain confidentiality regarding learner performance and scenario content.
Simulation experiences occur in a supportive, non-punitive environment that fosters growth and reflection.
All recordings are for educational debriefing only and may not be shared externally.
Resources must be scheduled appropriately; any damage or malfunction should be reported immediately.
Adherence to infection control and safety guidelines is mandatory during all simulation activities.
Learners are expected to uphold professionalism and academic integrity.
