Dolores C. Bilges, Ed.D, SON Diversity Coordinator
Dr. Dolores C. Bilges has been appointed as the School of Nursing's Diversity Coordinator. She will Chair the school's Diversity Committee which is charged with developing a strategic plan incorporating diversity initiatives across the school and throughout programs. This effort is in conjunction with the Stony Brook University Plan for Equity, Inclusion and Diversity. The plan identifies specific goals and tactics to enhance the University student, faculty and staff diversity and to build an inclusive community for all, regardless of ethnicity, age, gender, religion, ability, veteran status, socioeconomic level and sexual orientation.
