Description: This symposium will highlight artificial intelligence and its integration into dementia care. The use of robotics to assist with dementia care therapy is truly inspirational and cutting-edge for clinicians, trainees and the community at large, including assisted living facilities. Participants will be able to view videos of robots in action, learn about the many different ways robots can assist in dementia care therapy – from providing simple companionship to giving exercise instructions, and hear about future research opportunities to support individuals affected with Alzheimer’s disease.

Description: This continuing education course is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Students, Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistant students, both inpatient and out-patient who are interested in expanding their knowledge about EKG interpretation, arrhythmias and appropriate medication interventions.
Objectives:
1.) Learners will be able to identify abnormal findings on 12 Lead EKG.
2.) Learners will be able to identify appropriate interventions.
3.) Learners will complete a review of the appropriate medications for treatment of the arrhythmia.
